Overview of the process of developing career and professional standards in the energy sector


With the help of the DACUM (Development and Curriculum) methodology, a team of relevant professional ITAs and observers developed a scheme of 10 professional roles and procedures.

The professional level, competency list, and other relevant factors in the job and reference standard were developed using the International Systematic Curriculum and Instructional Development (SCID) methodology.

Overview of Erdenet Mining Corporation's 101 professional competency development standards

From September 23, 2020 to December 18, 2020, the members of the professional competency development team were briefed on their performance and career analysis was conducted.

With the help of a team of relevant professional staff, specialized Engineers and Technicians or observers, 101 professional roles and procedures were developed using the DACUM (Development and Curriculum) methodology.

The professional level, competency list, and other relevant factors in the job and professional standards were developed using the Systematic Curriculum and Instructional Development (SCID) methodology for the development of the International Program Systematization and Training Guidelines.

A comprehensive human resource development fund was established, consisting of 101 comprehensive jobs, job descriptions, professional levels, and a list of professional competence units, developed based on the proposals of professional staff and representatives of Engineers and Technicions, using DACUM methodology and analysis for program development.
